Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning Description
Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning is the dark fantasy MMORPG based on the Warhammer Fantasy setting, popularized in Games Workshop tabletop games. The game has a similar emphasis on Realm vs. Realm conflict, two broad factions (Order and Destruction) with multiple racial factions. These racial factions are the Dwarfs, Greenskins, Empire, Chaos, High Elves, and Dark Elves.
Players choose one of the available playable races in Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning. Each of the racial factions had their own classes that filled the traditional MMO Archetypes (Tank, Melee DPS, Ranged DPS, and Healer). Under the Order faction was the High Elves, Empire, and Dwarfs while the Destruction had the Dark Elves, Chaos, and Greenskins. High Elves had the Swordmaster, White Lion, Shadow Warrior, and Archmage. Empire could choose Knight of the Blazing Sun, Witch Hunter, Bright Wizard, and Warrior Priest. Dwarfs could be Ironbreaker, Slayer, Engineer, and Runepriest. Dark Elves classes include the Blackguard, Witch Elf, Sorceress, and Disciple of Khaine. Chaos classes are Chosen, Marauder, Magus, and Zealot. Finally, the Greenskins could be Black Orc, Choppa, Squig Herder, or Shaman.
Beyond the PvE and standard questing, Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning had a very detailed realm vs. realm warfare. RvR combat included Skirmishes, Battlefields, Scenarios, and Campaigns. Actions and combat that helped further the faction's goals generate Victory Points. These Victory Points accumulate and, once the total reaches a certain point, triggering battles for control. The winning side would be able to sack and loot the enemy's capital city for a period of time. Once this time ended, the cycle would begin again.
