New World Description

In Amazon Game Studios’ New World MMORPG, players are invited to join the great expeditions into a newly discovered region of Aeternum. Called the the Eternal Isle, Aeternum offers endless opportunities for adventure and exploration.

As the game states “Carve Your Own Destiny”, New World lets players dive into the role of one of the inhabitants in Aeternum who belong to one of the three major factions: the Marauders, the Syndicate, or the Covenant. Players can fulfill tasks that help or hamper the goals of these major factions. Or they can simply do their own goals, whether as a mercenary or as simple townsfolk in the various settlements in the land.

Characters have both combat and trade skills to develop. New World has a diminishing returns system of progression, as focusing on one skill will negatively impact other skills, creating a more balanced gameplay environment and experience. This also allows for a more immersive experience, as characters will need to depend on other players to succeed, whether in battle or by providing necessary resources, services, and craftwork.

New World will also have a dynamic economic system, relying on the production and trade between player interactions. Players will also have options to purchase housing and furniture, as well as faster travel options. As New World continues to develop, more content and quality of life conveniences will be added.
