It was also called Marvel Heroes 2015, Marvel Heroes 2016, and Marvel Heroes Omega. The game was built on the Unreal Engine 3. All versions of the game was available on Microsoft Windows and macOS, though only Marvel Heroes Omega was available for the Playstation 4 and Xbox One. It ran until November 2017 after being released in June 2013.

Marvel Heroes Description
Marvel Heroes was an action roleplaying game that allowed players to choose and take control of the various Marvel superheroes such as Iron Man, Captain America, Spider-Man, Thor, Wolverine, and many others.
There more than 100 popular Marvel characters to choose from in Marvel Heroes. There are also some supervillains that can be recruited. Every character is designed to fit a specific Archetype, such as Melee or Ranged. In addition to the playable characters, players can also acquire Team-Up characters that assist during missions.
In Marvel Heroes, players can spend Eternity Splinters for various benefits. These can include increasing the attainable level cap and cosmetic appearances that homage familiar storylines or versions of characters from other media, such as the Marvel Cinematic Universe and animated appearances. In fact, Marvel Heroes was recognized by the Guinness Book of World Records as the most Marvel Universe costumes represented within a game.
