Age of Wushu Description

Age of Wushu is a fantasy free-to-play MMORPG. Set in a fictional version of the historical Ming Dynasty period in ancient China, Age of Wushu casts players in the role of heroes during this period of conflict and political unrest.

There are no races or classes in Age of Wushu. Instead, players select one of the 8 major factions in the game. These factions represent different schools of combat and martial arts: Shaolin, Wudang, Emei, Beggar's Sect, Scholar's Academy, Royal Guard, Wanderer's Valley, and the Tang Clan.

Characters can learn nearly all the skills, but cannot change their chosen faction's Internal Skills. Internal skills provide passive benefits to a character in Age of Wushu. For instance, the Shaolin have Meditation 1st Tier Internal skill, which increases Hard/Yang Skills by 20% and Taiji Skills by 16%. In addition, this Internal skill gains a special effect such as 15% chance to remove bleeding at Level 6 to granting a 15% chance for each attack self-heal at level 36.

Age of Wushu also has mechanics for crafting, guild recruitment and guild structures, resource gathering, and Cultural. Cultural skills include Musician, Weiqi Player, Painter, or Calligrapher. Cultural skills have daily tasks that players can perform to gain experience, rewards, and special buffs.
