Pantheon: Rise of the Fallen is set on the fantasy world called Terminus. It is heavily focused toward PVE, with future PVP features.
Players create their Pantheon: Rise of the Fallen avatar by selecting a race and class. Currently, Pantheon: Rise of the Fallen characters can choose one of the following races: Archai, Dark Myr, Dwarf, Elf, Gnome, Human, Ogre, and Skar. For classes, players can choose from the Bard, Cleric, Dire Lord, Druid, Enchanter, Monk, Paladin, Ranger, Rogue, Shaman, Summoner, Warrior, and Wizard.
Interacting with the environment will be key to the exploration in Pantheon: Rise of the Fallen. For instance, Perception will be important, in order to be aware of their surroundings. The climate will also have an effect, such as Anaerobic, Frigid, Pressure, Scorching, Toxic, and Wind Shear. These environmental conditions will have detrimental effects to players in the area, unless they have suitably prepared for them.
Terminus is divided into 2 major regions: Kingsreach and Reignfall. All the zones will be open world. Instanced dungeons and group raid encounters from 12 to up to 40 players provide challenges and rewards for a wide range of player skill levels in Pantheon: Rise of the Fallen.
